All lithium-ion batteries degrade over time. Here's what normal degradation looks like:
High temperatures are the biggest battery killer. EVs in Phoenix degrade faster than those in Seattle.
Fast charging generates heat. Occasional use is fine; daily fast charging accelerates wear.
Regularly charging to 100% or depleting to 0% stresses the battery. The 20-80% range is gentlest.
